So, this is it I guess. I didn't think it'd be this soon, but here I am.
I haven't really enjoyed this for a while now.
I'll still be on msn and stuff, but I'm not going to keep posting here. At the moment, I'm going to continue posting on my tumblr, so I'll see how that goes.
Thank you to everyone that's ever read some of this, commented on a post, followed, sent me an email or said hi on msn.
Sorry to anyone who's only started reading this recently.
Byes,
Joshua.
PS: I will be leaving it up. I've put to much work into this to just get rid of it. However, if I do decide some time in the future, to blog again, it probably won't be here. I'll probably post here to say so, if anyone is still looking at this by then lol. But this blog was about me, being a gay boy. And I'm not that, anymore. So, if I decide to return to blogging, I'll make a pretty new one, and put up a post here saying so.
PPS: my Tumblr is htt://tombi04.tumblr.com. I'm going to keep with the music videos and random stuff there, probably.

Why?
I don't understand why, in human society, anyone needs to come out.
Why is it that we see it as something so far from the norm, that it needs to be announced, like it actually matters? Because it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter at all.
What is wrong with our society, that people have to come out?
Our society is broken, imperfect.
Why is it, that we can't fix it?
Is it maybe the fact that we, ourselves, are broken and imperfect?
That no matter how hard we strive, we will never live in a perfect world?
Is it that a perfect world can't exist with us in it, because we, as humans, are by nature filled with flaws?
A Utopian society is one of the most harmful ideas that has ever crept into the heads and hearts of humankind. It is one that makes people believe any means will justify the end, if this perfect society, this Utopia can be made to exist.
Perfection is such a harmful idea. No matter how hard we strive, it can't be achieved. Nothing is perfect.
Perfection is an illusion.
Never try to be perfect.
Try to be your best. Your best isn't perfect, it never will be. But is can be pretty damn amazing.
Even try to be better than your best, because you just may improve yourself.
But don't try for perfection. It can't be achieved, and anyone who seeks perfection will ultimately fail.
As humans, we will always make mistakes. They will always have consequences.
As a society, we expect too much. It is right that there are consequences for mistakes. It is not right that we look on somebody as something lesser, for making mistakes.
Laters,
Joshua.
Addendum: Apparently I didn't make myself clear.
I was, at no time, suggesting people shouldn't come out.
I was pointing to a fundamental flaw in society, where a person's sexuality is assumed to be heterosexual unless something points otherwise. Where children are forced into hetero-normative views, to the point that some will go long times in their lives not realising that maybe they do like the same gender, so strongly is it ingrained in them that they will grow up and marry someone of the opposite gender.
When it comes to sexual identity, it is an individuals right to explore that how they wish, regardless of the gender of the person they explore it with. A society that teaches us any one way is normal, in this matter, is not functioning as it should to raise children in an environment best for them, in my view.
Do not assume I am unaware of the current reality. I know society considers heterosexuality normative behaviour. However, there was a time when it was normal for women, or racial minorities to have no rights. Just because something is one way, that does not in any way make it right.
My point, when I said no-one should have to come out, was that there is a fundamental flaw in society that it is necessary to have to explain we are different than a societal expectation.

1 Year Already?
So, it would appear about a month ago, I'd been blogging for one year. And, in typical fashion, I completely forgot it. So I'm doing it now!
Yay! One year. Geez, the time went fast. I've met some awesome people, and changed quite a bit (hopefully for the better lol). In celebration, I've gone and found this pretty new custom template thingy to brighten it up. My widgety-bits (no, I don't mean that bit perves ;P) have, for the most bit been changed a little. I cut some of the old dead blogs from my blog list, added one I've meant to put in for a while, added a little search box, and just changed some small stuff mainly. Also, I've taken advantage of having two sidebars, which I feel has given the layout a nice balance, and means I don't have one massive long one lol.
So yeah, it's been pretty great, and really nice sharing stuff about myself, and reading a bunch of other people's blogs. Thank you all, I've really loved it.

Julie Bindel Part 2
Okay, firstly the time on my last post is screwy sorry, it's showing up as about a day earlier than it should be.
Also, I've had the pleasure to stumble across another article by Julie Bindel, this time from 2008. I would like to begin by saying my opinion of the Guardian is lowered by these pieces of hers, which are far more suited to a publication such as The Sun. Her articles are littered with blatant transphobia, and not just transphobia but it also displays a disregard or contempt for anyone not straight, gay or lesbian ("Queer (anyone who is into "kinky" sex)", a direct quote). She also displays a lack of journalistic ability, in that she seems to be unwilling to do even some small basic research, choosing instead to blindly defend her own archaic viewpoint, not even knowing what she defends it against.

Julie Bindel
I've come across an old article from 2004 (link), written by this journalist Julie Bindel. And regardless of what work she's done for feminism, I can't help but dislike this woman.
My dislike of her draws almost entirely from her stance on transsexualism and transgenderism. She strikes me as ridiculously out of touch. She seems to have the idea that people change genders to fit their sexuality, as well as the positively archaic idea that physical gender is the only gender people have.
Having a sex change isn't something you do to "normalise" your sexual attractions. It's something you do to make the body that you were born with match your gender identity. Now, another place she goes wrong is thinking that transitioning to match your gender identity is validating societal gender roles (the roles she fought, as a feminist, to show weren't real and were just created by society). When a person transitions, it doesn't mean they're changing from, say a 'butch' male stereotype to a 'girly' female stereotype. Plenty of post-op male to female transgender people won't be that female stereotype, they'll be all over the 'spectrum of femininity', just like with cisgender women.
It isn't about being 'not happy with the constraints of your gender', as she puts it. It's when somebody knows that they aren't the physical gender they've been born with. This strong knowledge that their body is wrong can be deeply disturbing and cause great emotional distress, which will quite often lead to gender identity dysphoria.
Also, if she would like to argue that gender identity is completely learned, I would refer her to the case of David Reimer. When he was a baby, David was born a healthy male. However, he had Phimosis, a condition where the foreskin is too tight to retract. He was refferred for circumcision at the age of eight months. He was unfortunate to get a doctor that did not usually perform them, and performed the surgery with cauterization (yes, that's right, the idiot quack decided to burn it off). David's penis was burnt beyond surgical repair. So, he was, at the age of 22 months, reassigned to female (I'm skipping some stuff here, read the article I linked for the full details) and given the name Brenda. The psychologist, John Money (who was, at the time, a major proponent of gender identity being entirely learned) counseled 'Brenda' through 'her' childhood, and gave no report that it was anything other than successful. However, Reimer, at the age of fourteen, began to live as a male, and underwent all of the necessary procedures to become physically male. He knew, despite being raised as a girl, that he was a boy.
This is an instance where (as we so often argue is the case for us), nature was proven to triumph over nurture. Raising Reimer as a girl did not make him one. The case of transgender people is the same, in that they will identify with their gender identity regardless of their body, or what they are raised as.
You may ask, "Joshua, why is this all so important to you?". Well, other than my strong desire for everyone to have equal rights, it's important because it's an issue close to my heart.
Okay, um, wow, here we go.
This is me, here, coming out, for the second time in my life.
I don't identify as male or female. I would describe myself, rather than as a homosexual male, as an androsexual androgyne (that is, an androgyne that is attracted to males, I believe the prefix andro means two different things in these words(I prefer androsexual to androphilia, the latter sounds too much like a fetish to me lol)). I feel that, rather than having a male or female gender identity, I'm somewhere inbetween. It's something I've thought long and hard about, swinging between the two, before I realised I didn't have to be either. And it's so freeing.
So yeah, give me your opinions on Julie.Honestly, you can comment on what I said about me, but I would rather hear your opinions on the issue I discussed rather than my personal revelation lol. Okay, disregard that lol. If you wanna talk to me about it or something, I'm really more than open for questions.

I Love Mirrorboy Day
So, today, Wednesday the second of December, is I Love Mirrorboy Day.
Basically, Ryan (from The Gay Onion and his personal Ryan's Portal) made this blog, and invited a bunch of us to post there about why we love Mirrorboy.
So, Mboy, when you see this (and there'll be the others posting it too), go to I Love Mirrorboy Day and check it out. I hope you're having loads of fun with Bitboy.
I've got a post in the works, so there'll be a proper one soon.

AJ's Questionnaire update.
Given what I disclosed in my last post, I guess I need to update a couple of answers from AJ's questionnaire.
29. Are you in a relationship? explain a little (boy, girl, short term, long term, etc)
No
35. Whats the one thing in your life you are most proud of?
I really can't think of anything for this one.
It's the morning after, and it still hurts. But, that was to be expected. It's not like it was my decision, or I saw it coming or anything.
Laters,
Joshua.

On The Radio
On the radio,
You'll hear November Rain,
That solo's awful long,
But it's a good refrain,
You'll listen to it twice,
'Cause the DJ is asleep,
On the radio,
On the radio.
I would write something, but I'm tired, and barely managing to stay awake. I can't sleep though, I have to wait to do that. I haven't forgotten this blog, I just haven't found anything to post about recently.
Oh, and the story on the other one, I wrote a coupla days ago. All I wrote today was the intro bit and the bit after it.

Basculez-vous
So what is Basculez-vous?
A departure. A change, a growth. An evolution.
It's not Rock You.
Rock You was me, reaching out to this wonderful online blogger community we have. It was not just making friends, it was also making friends who were gay, and bi. No matter what I do to it, it will always be about that, and be about being gay.
But that's not all of who I am.
So I needed something new. A way to express the rest of me.
My name is Joshua, I'm 18 years old and I'm gay. But there's so much more to me too.
Basculez-vous is a new format. It's abstract, different, and only displays one post at a time. It doesn't have comments, because I can't find a way to show them with the template I'm using. But the template fits it perfectly, so any comments on a post, will have to either go here or be emailed to me.
I'm not going to stop posting here yet. One day I will, likely, but it's a way off yet. Now, however you can browse here without the music videos and stuff.
I write sometimes, believe it or not ;P. That's gonna be there too. It's not fiction or non-fiction, it can be both or either. If you wanna know which,
There's some stuff up already, from when I made it back in July.
So yeah, go hit up Basculez-vous. I made a little introductory post there too. The link goes to it, but I've only posted one video since. There's also a link in the sidebar, too.
I'm gonna try get back to posting regularly. It'll take a little though I'm kinda rusty.
Laters,
Joshua.

He's Back!!!
Not telling you who, though ;P.
I mean and selfish like that. I wanna keep it all to myself.
I have told one person, but I tell him pretty much everything.
As overjoyed as I am he's back too, I'm not talking about Mboy ;P. Welcome back sweetie, and welcome to the bf you brought with you. Not that he'll read this lol. But whatevs.
Oh yeah, and welcome to Spencer Street, Mboy's friend too. Not that you'll read this either lol.
Um, I would've commented on your guys blogs, but stuff happened. Gonna try to in future.
Eh, technically I'm still on hiatus, so I don't have to write much of anything, so yeah.

Who's Gonna Run This Town Tonight?
Just a quick little thing.
Firstly, President Obama signed the Defense Reauthorization bill, with the Matthew Shepard Act as an amendment.
Also, the "Church" of Scientology was convicted of organized fraud in France.
Laters,
Joshua.
(Title is a quote from a song rather than it's title, just for a change and I felt it fit somehow)

October the 12th
It's October the 12th.
Eleven years ago, a young man called Matthew Shepard died at Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins, Colorado, from severe head injuries.
Five days earlier, shortly after midnight on October 7th, he had been offered a ride in a car from two guys he met in a bar. They then robbed him, pistol whipped him, tortured him, tied him to a fence in a remote, rural area and left him to die.
He was found eighteen hours later. He was in a coma, and the person who found him mistook him for a scarecrow at first.
Matthew Shepard suffered fractures to the back of his head, and in front of his right ear. Severe brain stem damage, affecting his body's ability to regulate his heart rate, body temperature and other vital functions. There were also about a dozen small lacerations around his head and neck. The doctors found his injuries too severe to operate on.
He never regained consciousness.
The two men who did this to him were not charged with a hate crime, because at the time Wyoming had no provision for such a charge in it's criminal statute.
The Matthew Shepard act was adopted as an amendment to S.1390 by a vote of 63-28 on July 15, 2009. This Act has passed the House of Representatives, and now must pass the Senate to become law. It has failed in previous introductions, and President Bush had commented that if it had reached him, he would veto it.
Matthew Shepard's beating and death drew attention to hate crimes against the GLBT community, or whatever you want to call it. Now, eleven years later, his death would still not be a hate crime by federal legislature. Hopefully, this is the last anniversary of his death this will be the case.

Last video was all serious and stuff, and we can't have that. So, instead, we have the ever fabulous Lady Gaga.

petit garçon adorable
So Milkboys recently had a couple of posts (My new dress and Trans Kids in UK Schools), to do with transgendered people, and more specifically young boys (genetically) that are girls (gender identically).
So the comments there have been interesting, but, I haven't seen people that usually comment here comment on them, so I'm wondering. What do you guys think?
Let me know here, or over at Milkboys. I look forward to hearing your views.
Laters,
Joshua.
PS: isn't the little boy Mario from the video absolutely adorable?

Aha! convertissez, ou Yellow
Why put up with it all?
Why put up with you?
Because, well, you see...
I'm absolutely head over heels in love with you.
And every time I think I possibly couldn't love you any more than I already do, you prove me wrong.
Because you love me.
This is the post I should have used Aha! for, but I didn't, so it's Aha! convertissez, Aha! transmuted. Aha! changed (and at the same time, it's Yellow). The translation isn't exact, but it so very rarely is. It's something short, and in the style of Reilly De Wilde, except not. It's for you, the love of my life. The guy who can make my heart flutter with one single simple word.
"Hey"
The guy who I want to grow old with, and have children with, and eventually, find out what the other side of life looks like with.
The guy who finds the beauty in some of the most unusual things. Me, for one ;P.
My boyfriend. The man I intend to marry, when we are ready.
I + R + G, and now, also, + C

Aha!
This isn't the end of my break. But I saw something that I feel I need to write about. I know this probably won't appeal to a lot of people out there, but it's something I feel strongly about. So here it is.
The Savile Row bespoke suit is an institute in tailoring. Forget designer labels, the Savile Row bespoke suit is the absolute height of mens clothing. A suit from here will go for £3000 and up. It takes 50 man-hours of skilled craftwork to create one of these suits. As well as being the best possible looking suit available, it is also the best quality suit available. It is a case where you most definitely get what you pay for.
Savile Row is a shopping street in Central London's Mayfair. A Savile Row bespoke suit is traditionally made entirely in Savile Row and a some of the surrounding streets. But there are now firms entering Savile Row, and not only illegitimately calling their suits Savile Row bespoke suits, but also selling them for a great deal cheaper.
Now, you may be asking how they can illegitimately call their suit Savile Row bespoke, when they are located in Savile Row? (I would like to point out here I'm using the usage of illegitimate as 'not in accordance with accepted standards', rather than it being illegal.) The suits these firms are selling are being made mostly outside of Savile Row. They are not truly bespoke, but are rather made-to-measure.
Made-to-measure is where a store will take a customer's measurements. A base pattern which is closest to the customers measurements will be chosen, then altered to match them. A made-to-measure garment will be partially machine and partially hand sewn.
A true bespoke garment, however, will be sewn entirely by hand, and will be made from a pattern created from scratch based on a customers measurements. A bespoke garment will be entirely unique, and entirely customised to the customer. It also involves fittings during the construction of the garment, to ensure a correct fit.
The problem with these new firms calling their suits 'Savile Row bespoke', is that they draw upon the esteem of a true Savile Row bespoke suit, without being one. It is comparable to a white sparkling wine being called champagne when it does not come from the Champagne region of France. They also cause potential customers to question why they should buy the £3000 suit when they can get an also bespoke suit for a fraction of that price.
To me, this is unfair business practice and unfair competition by means of misrepresentation.
Okay, thanks for putting up with my little rant. Oh, and the song title is my favourite from Imogen Heap's latest album Ellipse.
Laters,
Joshua.

Trouble Sleeping
Okay, so first of, a huge happy blog birthday to our beloved Mirrorboy! In your honour, I post...
Emo boy! Mainly for his hair (but also because I like his sunglasses).
![[Emo+Boys+Fashion.jpg]](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn0AEEHiMgxj2XEITRy756jIG6sxEZKX84Rcq6NOiJMa6Cu2kirqzGoHxfDjUh3hGBrmRZC4m5Rcu14OnbSNfn5WsuZCyNXeRUpujYDCYvJmBpNor7PZQ4vFt8p8QsKMgp8mR2nBCGiRZ5/s1600/Emo+Boys+Fashion.jpg)
You've had so many ups and downs over the past year, and taken blows some couldn't of managed to continue on after. Here's to many more years, and many less downs.
Love you sweetie.
Okay, now for the second part of this. For whatever reason I'm just not writing much of anything these days. Like at all.
Just on a slight side note, Victor, I'm really sorry I haven;t sent you a proper email, I want to, I just haven't been able to manage.
So I'm kinda making official what was already kind of in place, as shown by my even more than usual sporadic blogging, and taking a little break. If I can manage it, hopefully I'll put a post or two up. I'll be back when I can write properly again.
I'll still be reading everyone and trying to do my best to comment.
Laters,
Joshua

Different Names For The Same Thing
Sorry I haven't posted recently. My bandwidth ran out half way though last week, so I was cut back to dial-up speed, and all I could use the internet for was msn (well, I mean all I had the patience to use it for was msn, and that managed to piss me off at times too. My attention span is short, I no longer have the ability to browse the web on dial-up).
I have since read all the blog posts I missed, sorry I haven't commented at all, there was quite a few, it was overwhelming for me.
With the comments: I don't regret turning them off, it was something I needed to do. I was emotionally fragile at the time, they became an issue, and it was the only way I could see to resolve it.
Since then, I reconsidered, and realised I'm kind of an attention whore (okay, okay, I'm a huge attention whore), and I do really enjoy getting feedback from you guys.
So yeah, I felt I needed to say that stuff. Now for the rest of my post.
I watched a PBS program today, which, despite being PBS was interesting. It was about a court case in America where a school board made (well, tried to, but if you watch it you'll see) the science teachers bring intelligent design (read: Creationism) into the classroom. The link is here. Also, as a bonus for those of you who don't watch videos, there's a transcript, and, well, being a PBS show, it's not like you'll miss any action or anything.
Okay, that's all I have for today.
Laters,
Joshua.

It's Not What I Say, It's What I Mean
So following in the vein of "almost seems kind of political" I started last week, here are some revelations made about Sarah Palin after the campaign was over. And yes, Fox News knew them during the campaign.
And yes, she is a likely candidate for President in the next elections. I bet Britney is starting to look better, eh?

Heaven On Earth
Three words: Vice President Diddy.
Vice President Diddy?! Yes, you did hear me correctly, Vice President Diddy.
This is number nine on Britney Spears Top Ten list of ways the USA would be different if she was President.
Others include:
Britney '12, the most fabulous campaign yet. Take that Sarah Palin.
Laters,
Joshua.
Oh btw, the comments are back, and that's all I have to say on the subject.

Others include:
- I would be the first president to wear eye shadow since Nixon
- We would only invade fun places, like Cabo.
- I'd lure Osama Bin Laden out of hiding with the irresitable scent of my new fragrance Circus Fantasy
- Free pie for everybody!
- If I was president America might have a more coherent fiscal strategy.
Britney '12, the most fabulous campaign yet. Take that Sarah Palin.

Partie Deux De Commentaires
Okay, so I'm just writing a little follow up to the last post.
Firstly, a huge thank you to the people that emailed me after the last post, it was really nice of you.
I want to say, to those people that did comment however often, I wasn't trying to say anyone didn't comment enough, I really wasn't.
So yeah, I'm gonna explain my reasons a bit more so you guys can understand why I've done what I have. I'm still working on being healthy emotionally. I haven't talked about it here at all really, but for a lot of my life, even before I came out, I've been pretty heavily and constantly emotionally abused. So my self-esteem is pretty bad, and it's something I'm working on being better, but I'm still not there yet. And normally, I can apply perspective to however many comments I have, but when I'm in a really down place generally, when I'm having one of those days, it's just one extra little thing to add to the rest that a post may have not had as many comments as another, and when I'm close to falling apart already, I don't need that. This is the main reason the comments are turned off. I was in one of those places when I made the decision to turn them off, and after I was feeling better I did reconsider it, and I have decided it's probably not a good idea at the moment.
I normally don't talk about this here, because I don't think it really helps me deal with it, and I don't want people's pity or anything, but I feel like I should fully explain my reasons to you guys, the people that take the time to read this, so you can hopefully understand that this isn't necessarily a decision I wanted to make, because I do enjoy hearing what you guys say about what I think. But for my own health and sanity, I do feel that I need to do this for a while.
It is something I will have under a kind of constant re-evaluation. I do want to turn them back on, and when I feel I'm up to having them back, they will be back. But for now, I just don't feel I can.
I do still have my email so people that want to can contact me.
I really enjoy blogging, and I don't want to stop. And I feel I can't continue with comments on. I want to keep doing this, I really enjoy it, so the comments had to go. I'm not leaving.
I also feel like I kinda need to defend my comparison between my comments and views. A view can be someone accidentally clicking on my link on someone else's blog, whereas a comment is someone who has read a post, though about it, and taken the time to respond. That's why I made the comparison in the first place.
Also, already existing comments are still there, just hidden, so when I turn them back on they'll show up again, they haven't been deleted or anything.
Okay, hopefully that's the last on this until I choose to put them back.
Laters,
Joshua.

Hallelujah
You may have noticed, but all the comments are gone.
Basically, I'm fragile, and I can't handle waiting for them to come in anymore, and the amount they mean to me.
Thank you so much to everyone that has taken the time to comment in the past, I really do appreciate it.
I'll still have my email, so if you have some desperate need to say something about something I've posted, you can use it.
I dunno, it just gets to me. Like 100 people come here a day, and I'll get 3 comments on a post. I'm not trying to have a go at the people not commenting regularly, I can understand that, I don't myself. But I mean I don't even post daily, so there'll be like 300 individual viewers a post, and only 3 will comment. I don't expect anyone to comment every post or anything, but never even leaving a single comment I just can't understand.
My self-esteem is just too fragile for me to factor comments in any more, so sorry, they had to go.
Laters,
Joshua.

For my BF. And because I love this song (and him ;P). Under My Skin by Gin Wigmore. And yes, it was in the Air NZ video Ryan posted a while ago - they're using it for their current campaign, partially because yes, it is NZ music.
Also, I'm listening to Gossip's album Music For Men (I downloaded it from iTunes-download legally kids!), and it's amazing. Honestly, it's just really, really good. If you haven't got it, get it.

Joshua.

Urban Dictionary
So I haven't posted one of these for forever. But I ran across this and just couldn't resist. Note: this one isn't scarring/disturbing like the last, I promise.

PS: because I did last time I did one of these, I must now once again tell you all to visit Mirrorboy's Blog. Pffft. Like you haven't already. If you have never, you scare/disgust me.
PPS: There was a warning related to AOL disc's under another definition everyone should probably see: **WARNING** AVOID CONTACT WITH COMPUTER AT ALL TIMES!

A Cult Of Hatred
Instead of a music video, or one I find amusing, today I post one to highlight a group of people who preach hate. Behold the Westboro Baptist Church, a cult of hatred.
A little food for thought.
Also, so you don't have to look it up, Proverbs 13:24: (from the New King James Bible)
He who spares his rod hates his son,
But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.
Also a little note to aid your viewing, Fred Phelps is head of the WBC.
And the link mentioned in the video is here.
Firstly I would like to note that whilst they call themselves Baptist, no other Baptist church is affiliated with them. In fact, some go so far as to reject them outright.
Another thing I would like to point out. Members of this cult are banned from entering the UK, because of their hateful conduct and anti-homosexual protesting among other things. An alliance of six UK religious groups issued a statement supporting the government's decision and condemning the activities of the Westboro Baptist Church.
If anyone would like to read further about them, you can visit their Wikipedia entry, their main website God Hates Fags, or to find out why God hates your particular country visit their rather charming website God Hates The World.
The leader of these people, Fred Phelps, is one of the most hateful people I have ever had the displeasure to hear of. This man picketed the funeral of Matthew Shepard, shouting abuse at his grieving parents. This is the man who started this cult of hate. This man pickets the funerals of people that die with AIDS. This man pickets the funerals of soldiers of the USA army. This man rapes the very bible he preaches from, twists the words of it's scripture.
That's all I have to say for today.

God and Stuff
So, one of Bob's questions I figured my answer would be too long, and it would be better if I separated it and did it as one post. Here it is.
56. I have read you don’t believe in God and I believe that is a reasonable belief to hold though not one I share, would you like to explain why it is you believe God doesn’t exist?
I don't believe in the standard Christian concept of God, or any other one I've encountered so far.
I do, however, think it's likely there's was sort of creator, a higher being that gave the universe that starting push.
I don't think this creator interferes with his creations, or cares about the actions of individual people. One person, on the scale of something as large as the universe, seemingly infinite, just doesn't really matter. Even one planet doesn't on the scale of something like a galaxy. The standard Christian 'God cares about every person and their actions' is just pandering to people's sense of self importance. I'm not saying that this creator doesn't watch, I just can't accept that he prefers us to take one course of action over any other.
I see the creator as something more like an observer. It brings the universe into life and movement, then sits back to see how things turn out. A scientist, if you will, running an experiment. Never interfering, just seeing what the conclusion will be based on different beginnings.
I'm just using this scientist as a metaphor, I think science is interesting, but don't place any great importance in it. It's great that they want to understand how things work. However, I don't grant it any worth over that of someone creating music, or raising children, or loving someone.
That's pretty much my answer, but I'm gonna go on here to further expand on my personal beliefs here while I'm on the subject. I apologize in advance for how rambling and disjointed this will likely be. I do recommend continuing reading though, as I return to the subject of God as I explain my beliefs.
I choose to define my beliefs along broad and nonrestrictive terms, to give them room to change and grow. I don't really have a religion, because I haven't found one that seems right to me. Instead I have my collection of thoughts and beliefs, and it works for me.
I believe strongly in Egalitarianism. I don't believe all people are created equal, but I do believe that under the law all should be treated equal, and have the same rights.
I also believe strongly in freedom of religion. I think everyone should be free to choose what suits them. However, I do not believe they should be able to practice their chosen religion to the extent that it impacts upon the freedom of others to make their own choice. For example, one thing I detest is indoctrination of religion. I don't mind people teaching their children about their religion, but I am utterly opposed to telling them it's the only correct or true religion. Children actually believe that kind of shit, and they should have the right to practise the religion they choose.
I'm Agnostic. I believe the existence of God is inherently impossible to prove or disprove. I am an Agnostic theist though. I do believe there is a God. However, while I believe it, and the belief may be true, I cannot justify it sufficiently to consider myself as knowing that a God exists (here I'm using the classical philosophical understanding of knowledge, that it is justified true belief).
Anywho, that's all I've got at the moment. I reserve the right for it to be entirely different within several weeks, though this is no longer the likely case.

To avoid any possible confusion, just a little btw, the AJ I mentioned (repeatedly) above is AJ from AJ’s Ramblings.
50. Do you like sunsets or sunrises better and why? Sunsets. I like the night.
51. Do you like staring at the stars at night and why? I do, they’re so pretty.
52. Would you rather swim in the ocean or a pool and why? A pool, and preferably one that doesn’t allow children. Because pools aren’t all yucky and naturey, and no children because, let’s face it, they pee in pools. It’s gross, and also combines with the chlorine in the water to create mustard gas.
53. If you had a message to live share with the world what would it be? Balance is the key to everything (well at least most things). I’m not gonna explain it, it’s something you need to figure out yourself to understand.
54. Name two qualities of character you possess? (i.e. by qualities I mean things like trustworthy, unselfish, brave, greedy, etc. some general description) Loyal, trustworthy.
55. Name two qualities of character you admire in others? The ones I have.

57. What do you want your readers to understand about you from your blog? Nothing, really.
58. Would you like to adopt children in the future? I most definitely would
59. Do you believe there is a stereotypical gay person? There is, just like there’s a stereotype of just about everything. Humanity craves neat categorisations, something that doesn’t actually fit well even with humanity itself.
60. Do you believe the media still portrays gays in a stereotypical manner? Some does, some doesn’t.
61. What do you think a person your age can do to support gay rights and groups if they are closeted? I don’t think they can do much if they’re closeted and afraid of people finding out. But I don’t think it should be just gay people fighting for gay rights, like I’m white and would fight for black rights of equality any day. See, this is why marriage is important to us. Like not too long ago, when people with dark skin were classed as separate but equal, and fought to gain equality in truth, so do we.
62. If I visited New Zealand where would you suggest a blogger would want to go and see? For a blogger, especially one from a country larger than ours (i.e. everywhere) I’d suggest not avoiding Auckland, it’s the closest thing we have to what’s called a city in your oversized, overpopulated realms. Also, I’d recommend that anyone should go to Napier in the summer, it’s beautiful, and it has some awesome art-deco architecture.
63. If you left New Zealand where would you want to go? So many places.
64. What makes New Zealand a great pace to live? It’s small.
65. What makes New Zealand a bad place to live? It’s small.
66. In general how are gays treated in society in New Zealand? Anti-gay feeling in NZ society is generally a lot more under the radar than places like America, because here it’s generally accepted as unacceptable behaviour. From the places I’ve been in NZ at least
67. Gay Marriage or civil unions where are you on this issue and what if anything does New Zealand have? I’m pro Gay Marriage, like I said before; it’s about true equality instead of being separate but equal. NZ currently has civil unions.
68. Is it safe to be out as a gay person in New Zealand? It is fairy safe. There are a small minority who are ignorant (and sadly generally teenage boys influenced by American media), but it is generally safe.
Pervy ones I wouldn’t answer :P
69. Ever had sex with a large stuffed animal? No, I haven’t. *cough*Mirrorboy*cough*
70. Who was your first crush on and when was it? My first crush was on a girl, and was when I was 11. My first boy crush took place two years later.
71. Did you taste it? I did.
72. When you are looking at a guy what do you check out first? The clothes, and the hair. Definitely the hair.
73. What turns you off in another? Bad hair/clothes.
74. What if anything is an immediate visual turn on to you in another? Emo hair lol.
75. Ok do you enjoy wanking to videos, pictures or memories? All three.
76. Have you ever been naked in public where, when and why? I have, in primary school, boys changing sheds for swimming. Because I changed into my togs (togs is NZ, and possibly elsewhere, slang for swimming gear, or bathing costume.
77. Strangest placed you ever wanked? I don’t have any that are even strange :(.
78. Most number of times in a day you have wanked? About 3 or 4
79. If you could choose anyone who would you like to be in a porn movie with? Threesome with Dillon Samuels and Kyros Christian. I am assuming by people you meant porn stars btw. Sammy Case would also be epic.
80. Do you have a fetish? Not really, I’m pretty vanilla.
81. Where is his favorite place to jerk off? In bed.
82. Does Joshua jerk off every day? He doesn’t.
83. Which hand does Joshua use to relieve himself? Both.
84. Has anyone else ever touched Joshua’s member, and who was it? Nobody has yet, something I’m looking to change first time my boyfriend gets me alone *hint hint*.
85. Have you ever dated anyone and give details? Dating someone now, already given all the details I intend to.
And that's it. Oh, Bob also wanted to know if kiwi meant anything other than the fruit. In fact, they're called kiwifruit, you Americans shorten it. It's because they're brown, furry, and round, like our national symbol, a bird, the kiwi. They're epic cute, so check 'em out.
Micky also had some questions, so I'll answer them, some may be repeats, I'm not gonna check.
What clothes do you usually wear (daytime)? Jeans and a t-shirt.
What clothes would you wear for favs if you could? My Sex Pistols tee, my Wranglers Stranglers jeans, my D&G sunglasses, my pink Chucks, and this awesome CK watch I've been perving over every time I'm near the jewellers. Oh, and my CK trunks as well.
Imagine loving dinner with sexy bfriend (he is sexy, is he? - oh, well - never mind!) - what would you love to have to eat? There's a rude answer and a polite one to this ;P. I'll give both lol. Polite: A salad, no dressing. Rude: My boyfriends cock. Oh, and yes, he's the sexiest guy in the world. At least to me he is.
So that's it Bob's and Micky's questions. So here I end my hundredth post, I bid you,
Plus tard,
Joshua.
I + R + G
Edit: wow, I just looked at it on my blog, this thing's almost as long as my sidebar lol.

c. Do you blog at a certain time of the day? Quite often in the evenings is when I blog.
d. What do you think of anonymous commentators in general, should they be allowed? I like anonymous commentators, and personally would encourage them to comment more frequently. It’s a shame, however, that every now and then one turns us like that ass who was hating on Dusty.
7. Internet use
a. How many hours a day are you on the net on average? I could say, but I’d really rather not. It’s embarrassing lol.
b. Can you break that down by time on blogs, MSN and other activities? I think it’s mainly MSN. I have it one while I’m doing the other stuff too.
c. Can you imagine life without the internet? I can. It’s a bleak, bleak place.
9. What does Joshua want to do when he grows up? Be a father.
10. What does Joshua want to study at Uni? It changes day to day, but will most likely be something within a Bachelor of Arts.

26. What clothing do you sleep or in, if any? Aforementioned trunks/boxer-briefs, and a t-shirt.

32. Explain to me what is it about these video games that make you want to play them? They’re a redux of the Gold and Silver Gameboy Colour games, kinda like FireRed and LeafGreen, except they’re on DS so they’ll be better than they were. Also, the Johto games were the first I ever played, so they hold a certain nostalgia for me.
33. If your house was on fire what five possessions of yours would you grab before running out? I’m assuming here I have a magic box that can hold any 5 items, no matter the size, and am going to treat the term item as including any accessories/games that come with things. My couch, my laptop, my D&G sunglasses, my Nintendo DS, and my manbag.
34. What is your most prized possession and why? My laptop.

39. Does Joshua have a nickname? He has one Mboy gave him, but isn’t sharing ‘cause you didn’t ask.
40. What sports does Joshua like? Joshua like gymnastics, because the guys are hot. Oh, and swimming too, same reason plus speedo’s.
41. What sports did Joshua play in high school? I played badminton for a short while, but not like on a team or anything.
42. What is the worst thing Joshua has done to anyone else in his life in Joshua’s opinion? Umm, probably the stuff I did in that question H one.
43. What is the most embarrassing thing that someone has done to Joshua? there's been too many to pick one.

49. What has been the best thing about blogging for you? Meeting my boyfriend. Wow lol, the only one from this bit that isn’t AJ ;P.
To avoid any possible confusion, just a little btw, the AJ I mentioned (repeatedly) above is AJ from AJ’s Ramblings.

56. I have read you don’t believe in God and I believe that is a reasonable belief to hold though not one I share, would you like to explain why it is you believe God doesn’t exist? (This is the question I’m gonna do a whole post on, look out for that Monday or Tuesday)
So here I end my hundredth post, I bid you,
Plus tard,
Joshua.

Edit: wow, I just looked at it on my blog, this thing's almost as long as my sidebar lol.

No answers yet sorry
Okay so, I was planning on posting my answers to Bob's questions tonight. But I'm tired, it's late, my bf's away so I miss him, and I generally feel like crap. Also, there's one of his questions I feel warranted an entire post to itself. So, I'm going to bed, will do that one tomorrow, and try to have the full answers done on Sunday.
Also, Pilgrim, learn to take a hint. If I don't link you, it's generally for a reason. Partially because you expect me to link you just for linking me, which I don't do. Ever. I only link blogs I read (although I do read some I have yet to link, but intend to). But also, for no particular reason, I just don't like you. I don't have anything against you personally, there's just something about you that really rub's me the wrong way. So yeah. If someone doesn't reply to your question, or give any notice to the question, when they have received it in type multiple times, there usually is a reason.
It's my blog, so I can do what I want here, and the only person other than me that has any real say in what is here is Blogger, because they host it. I'll post whatever I want here, and if anyone disagrees with me, feel free to do so. I'll happily argue why I'm right any time. If anyone wants to post any hate comments, too, go ahead. I could use the lulz.
Meh.
*megahugs* to Mirrorboy, who's going through a rough time. He's so awesome, and sweet, and nice, and so doesn't deserve the crap he puts up with. Love you dude.
Oh, yeah, and Jake Anonymous of Jake's Home, and formerly from My Life On A Wall has decided to stop blogging. I haven't commented recently, but I was reading every post. You're a pretty awesome dude, and I'll miss reading you blog. Bye Jake. Good luck with life and everything.

Update: It's 4am Saturday, and I'm still not asleep, so there's a good chance the post I mentioned for Saturday won't be up 'til Monday, still gonna try get the Answers one for Sunday.

Some Answers
So, I'm gonna answer those questions tonight, but first a little rant. If you don't enjoy listening to me ramble on, skip ahead to the questions. You have been warned.
I watched the news today (surprisingly, I actually do most days), and I could not believe the amount of stupid shit there was. Some idiot woman is refusing to pay her son's school fees when he goes to a partially-private school! She then has the gall to say, and this is a direct quote, "People should be able to pay what they can afford". Yes, they should. If their little darling goes to a public school! But this isn't even the worst of it. The school fees are $1000 a term. She owes the school $13000 in unpaid fees! That's over three years of fees! If you can' afford the fees, send your child to a public school like everyone else who can't afford them does!
Okay, rant done, it's safe to read again now.
I decided to start answering questions today, because even though I've had a shockingly large amount of people (a whole three!), Bob and Mirrorboy both gave me big lists, and Steve gave me a big question, so I've already got plenty to write up. However, I will still take up the challenge of answering every question, so post any more you may have (although after this lot it's hard to imagine there being more) just post in this post's comments.
First off we have a question from Planetx_123, or Steve from Lions, Tigers, and Science... oh my!
When I was little I used to enjoy playing dress-ups and with Barbie dolls. I don't think it was environmental really. I did go through a phase as a teenager where I was a total metalhead, but have thankfully outgrown it and now like every kind of music.
Now we have a list of questions from some guy called Mirrorboy or something, apparently a couple of people have heard of him. As you'll see from the first few of his comments, he never thinks about sex, or anything related. Love you sweetie!
Surprisingly enough, he actually has some that aren't dirty too.
That's all Mboy had. Wow, I didn't realise this would be so big =P. I'm gonna take a wee break, and get the rest up tomorrow.

Joshua.

- You say you are flamboyantly gay: was this how you always were or did your behavior change at some age (like puberty)... I am not flamboyantly gay and don't really know why or why not. I understand that a lot of it is environmental I suppose, but I want to learn more about this! I also don't have enough flamboyantly gay friends just by chance that I could really talk to about this--- so I'm just curious how you experienced it or feel about it.

Sex Action
Okay, so this will kinda be almost a real post.Yay!
I decided to do one of those things where you guys ask me questions, and I answer them. So ask me anything you want. I'll answer them all. Even if I have to make multiple posts, I'll do it (as I type this I'm realising I'll probably need a whole one dedicated to Bob's =P). So yeah, you can comment, or email me your questions.
Oh yeah, here's yet another video for Someone Special.

Speidi FTL!
So, not many people know this, but I secretly like The Hills. Anywho, I came across this vid in my travels, and thought I'd share it.
Also, I found this vid that's really hot, but it doesn't have embed code so I can't put it here, so I'll link it.
Wait. It's porno. So, if you're under 18 don't go and watch this (I'm talking to you Mirrorboy), and of course I didn't watch it either, because I'm not 18 yet.

Silver Bullet Trailer
So Mirrorboy tagged me for this game Tyler came up with, so here's a pic of where I blog:

Yes, that is my bed. Thanks to the joys of laptops and wireless modems, and the fact I don't have a desk that isn't covered in random crap, I blog from bed.
I'm tagging Seth from Sethboyardee.
Now here's some Regina Spektor for Someone Special I'm missing and worrying about.
Laters,
Joshua

DOMA, Politics and Religion
Y'know there's one term I absolutely love in the Defense of Marriage Agreement. That term is 'legal union'.
What a large amount of people seem to fail to realise is that religion shouldn't matter in politics. Because politics isn't about insuring moral standards are upheld. It's about ensuring peoples rights are protected. In the United States of America, in the First Amendment (one of the ten that make up the Bill of Rights) to the United States Constitution, the Establishment Clause has been interpreted to prohibit support of a religious idea with no identifiable secular purpose. Can anyone identify a secular reason to prohibit members of the same gender from being married to one another?
Not only is the DOMA unconstitutional by enforcing this religious ideal with no secular purpose, it also violates the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution. In fact it was created with the intention of overstepping the Full Faith and Credit Clause, by allowing states to not recognise marriages between same sex couples even if they are considered a marriage in another state.
The word 'politics' comes from the Greek word 'polis', meaning state or city. The Greek word 'politikos' describes anything relating to the city or state. The ideal of the founders of the USA was seperation of church and state, that's why the first amendment was written. Where is there anything outside of religion that says same sex partners shouldn'd be able to be married? Nowhere that I've seen.
Anywho, that's all I've got on that for now.
Laters,
Joshua.
Images within images into infinity.
This feeling's like no other,
I want You to know,
That I've never had someone,
That knows me like You do,
The way You do,
And I've never had someone,
As good for me as You,
No one like You,
So lonely before,
I finally found,
What I've been looking for.
Indigo, for You.
- The federal government defines marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman.

Deploro, Rex Pop est Mortuus
I had something I was working on posting today, but I decided to suspend it in lieu of recent news regarding the death of Michael Jackson.
I know he wasn't perfect, like every person he had flaws. Please refrain from making negative comments, I'll just delete them.
So here's a post, dedicated to The King of Pop, Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29 1958 - June 25 2009), long may he rest in peace.
The King of Pop transformed the music video into an art form. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, holds multiple Guinness World Records (including one for Most Successful Entertainer of All Time), 13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career, and has sold over 750 million albums worldwide.
He was a great musician and performer. Music today would not be the same without him. I'm gonna put up the song he did with his little sister Janet, Scream, in tribute.
Laters,
Joshua.
PS: Also, RIP Farrah Fawcett.
PPS: Apologies for what is probably a terrible translation on the title. I don't know latin, so it wasn't easy.

Toxic, I'm A Slave 4 U
I will do a post that isn't just music videos soon, I promise, I was just inspired by Sunday's post to put up a Pop Masterpiece from the past. Here's Britney with Toxic.
I know this one's not the actual video, we have embedding being disabled on it to thank for that (and my lack of motivation to look very hard for a different one). It's her live performance at the MTV Europe VMA's in '04. The sound quality is still amazing however, because, let's face it, anyone who expects her to actually sing at a concert is dreaming.
Here's a little extra Miss B too. This one goes out to Someone Special, you know who you are.
Laters,
Joshua.

Lady Gaga - Paparazzi
This video is an epic Pop masterpiece.
I wasn't gonna post another video, but I wanted to post and don't have anything to post, and this one is amazing.

It Takes Two
So I was talking to Bob about love, and what it is, and I had this thought I need to write down so I can keep it. And so You could see it.
When you put two mirrors directly opposite each other, they reflect each other.
Images within images, into infinity.
That is what love is.
It takes two.

Hurts So Good
This song is how I'm kinda feeling (except not about a girl lol). I have to apologize for the video, it is truly horrendous, but I love the song.
I also wanna give a huge shoutout to Reilly, who I met a few days ago through that eternally wonderful cuteness Mirrorboy. I've been talking to him on msn recently, and he's super awesome. He's got a tumblr blog called The Slowest Moving Train, where he posts stuff and some of his beautiful writing, so go check him out, linkage in the sidebar too. But yeah, like I said he's super awesome, and I really enjoy talking to him.
Oh, and thanks to Doomed But Cheerful from Fatum Tamen Hilaris, who's now following me.
I'm not going to talk about what has me feeling not great, not in regards to my privacy (which I don't really care about all that much), but in regards to other parties concerned in the matter's privacy.

Joshua.

Rock You
Okay, I don't have a lot of time (got my dance lesson soon), so here's a clip of the song my blog's named after ('cause I happened to be listening to it when I made this). It's live because apparently it hasn't got an actual music video. Enjoy!

Time Of Your Life
So May really wasn't a very good month in blog-land, was it?
But June is here, and it's looking like it could be a way better month (fingers crossed. Not that it would have to be very good to be better). So far, (in NZ) we started the month on a public holiday. Yay! And in the USA, President Barack Obama has released an official proclamation declaring June 'Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month' (see everything Obama decared on Sethboyardee).
I would like to take a brief moment to mention Matt, who closed his blog 'Life' at the end of last month. I may not have commented much (I never do), but I read every post. It's a loss that seems to have reverberated across the (fairly small I have to admit) range of blogs I read. I'll miss reading his posts. Oh, and thank you Mattt for sending that email for Bob to publish, instead of just dissappering like some do.
I personally have had a really boring time recently, with nothing happening in my life worth posting about. Mainly been doing some soul-searching/getting-in-touch-with-myself thinky stuff, and playing WoW too (12 hour server mainenence ftl. Boo Blizzard!). I got some really good philosophy books too, so I'm gonna get into them. I'm gonna be trying to get more posts up that are actually halfway decent compared to some of my more recent piss-poor attempts (last post excluded from tha). But expect a fair bit of thinky philosophy stuff, 'cause I don't really have a lot happening here in sheep-land to talk about at the moment.
Peace out homedogs.

A Lack Of Colour
Okay, I know, I totally suck, I haven't posted in ages, and my posts in general have been not that great too.
But tonight I really need to put this up. Most of you have probably already read Jake's latest post. Those of you that haven't, brace yourselves.
Well, to oversimplify what happened, Jake broke up with Mirrorboy.
I'm far too tired to write much more than this, so if you want to know more, you'll have to wait for one of them to post more.
Oh, and I've talked to both of them. Let's all pretend we're mature (a stretch for some, I know) for a bit. Just because Jake decided to end things, it does not give anyone other than Mirrorboy the right to say shit about him, okay! And Mirrorboy won't, because he's so nice.
If you have a problem with what Jake did, then come tell me!
But leave him alone. He's going through enough without anyone shitting all over him, okay. He's already beating himself up far more than any of you could beat him up.
If either of you see this, I love the both of you, and you both deserve happiness. You're both kinda like little brothers to me.
Oh, rants aside, if anyone wants to see guy eating a pie burger go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKrSc_J-nMI
It's gross, but I couldn't stop watching.

Poisoned Rationality
Firstly, didn't the ridiculously cute and super awesome blog-superstar Mirrorboy start off one heck of a discussion with his latest post on religion? It's already up to 40 comments (as I write this sentence), and I'm sure there's far more to come.
So, reading Mirrorboy's post (and the multitude of comments) has inspired me to post a bit on my personal beliefs and ideas about that kind of stuff.
(2 hours later)
Okay, I was going to, but I have the attention span of a gnat and got sidetracked by msn, so you'll just get some core beliefs of mine in a short form.
I tend to be egalitarian.
I used to be left-winged in my politics, but I have come to the conclusion that the centre is the better place to be. I'm not sitting on the fence, I just think there should be balance between the two.
Okay, that's all I'm writing about that for now.
Oh, you've probably already followed someone else's link to check them out, but I've recently added coming out (on the net) by AJ (but not the sexy one from AJ's Rambling's. Not that he's not sexy, I have no idea lol. Just saying he's a different one) and Beneath An Orange Sky by Joe (I'm loving the correct use of 'an' here) to my link list. If you haven't checked them out already, go do it.
Happy Birthday to Mirrorboy for Friday in case I don't post again before then. May your special day be full of cute boys with great hair. :P

Happy Birthday AJ!
Hey, so today is AJ's Birthday. And I was feeling really bad, 'cause I wouldn't be able to give him anything. But then I had an idea.
This Post
is just for you, dude.
I love you.
I hope you have the amazing birthday you deserve.

Puke In My Mouth
Okay, so this video is a parody of the Lonely Islands song "Jizz In My Pants" (which I also love), and I thought it was, like, hilarious, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. Enjoy.
So what'd you think? (I LOL'ed at Tom Cruise one).
Okay, so there's nothing much happening for me at the moment, but on Saturday I'll be auditioning for a local production of Cats. Wish me luck! (I'll post more det's and how it went on Sunday)

Other Side Of The World
Before I forget, thanks to my new followers, A Poor Student, Pilgrim90, Rhythym Changes and pies masculinos.
Okay, so I have like, no idea what to post.
I have this poster. It's awesome.
So apparently there's this thing called swine flu going around. Except now they say it's called H1N1. There also seems to have been a suspiciously high number of NZ student on school trips to Mexico.
Okay, seriously, the media has taken the hype over it a little too far. Does anyone else remember when they were saying that like 150 people had been killed by it already. Then the WHO (World Health Organisation, not to be confused with the English rock band) said the next morning that it was actually only about 9.
