Hey, so this'll just be short 'cause I'm going to my interview soon to see whether I can get in to the course at the Tech that'll be the first on my road to becoming a fashion designer full time, and I'm so nervous. Wish me luck guys (and girl)!

R.I.P Bea Arthur
Okay, so I never really watched Golden Girls.
But Bea Arthur was an awesome comedienne, and I was totally gutted to hear that she died on Saturday.

So, who likes the new layout? Comment if you can tell who the influence is behind the new colour scheme (there may be a prize for the first person to get it right. If I can think of something. And AJ, if it's you, you won't get one, 'cause I told you what it is lol).
I just read AJ's post on the Iranian blogger that was killed just for doing what we do, blogging.
Now, you may ask, what can we do?
We need to stand up for our rights in our countries. And we need to stand up for others rights in our countries too. Even if it doesn't directly affect us, we still need to stand up and say "this isn't okay."
Why?
Because it may not directly affect us, but it will in one way or another. If we allow our freedom to be limited in ways that don't directly affect us, whoever is responsible for the limiting will then feel like they are able to limit our rights in ways that will directly affect us.
Don't misunderstand me. This isn't some anti-government, anarchist type message I'm trying to say.
We need governments to stop bad people doing bad things like murdering and raping.
But they should also know where to draw the line.
An example I'm gonna use here is the recent internet censorship law that you may have heard of that was proposed to the New Zealand government. I'm sure anyone that read it will agree with me that it was unrealistic and too controlled.
I'm proud to say that our PM said no, either make it work or I'll shaft it (although I suspect that was because it would have effected someone's money negatively).
I'm kinda losing track of my point here, so I'll stop rambling on.

First is cutting onesself. This isn't an emo thing! Self mutilation with a razor blade is punk, and is an expression of nihilistic views.
The forms of government commonly called communism that exist today aren't actually communist, and don't follow the principles Karl Marx set out in The Communist Manifesto. They have taken communist ideals and perverted them into societies where the populace are brutally oppressed.
Napoleon wasn't short. This common misconception is a combination of British propoganda, and the fact that French and English inches are a different length. He was 1.7m tall, which was an average height for the period.
Hopefully that cleared a few things up for y'all.

Although that's not why I posted it. I posted it 'cause Lucas Cruickshank's in it, and I'm totally crushing on him right now. He's the cute one on the right in the red and blue outfit. This vid's a coupla years old tho.

Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)
Well, I made it four days. I'm so bored! So guess who's back? ME!!! (So much for my indefinite break...).
I'm listening to Aerosmith, and the title seemed apt.
So this weekend's been kinda complete crap. Firstly, no internet access from Friday night to Sunday Night. Then, for Saturday I had a highly enjoyable (sarcasm btw) funeral to go to for a relative, followed by a huge fight with my parents. And Sunday was just a day of feeling really crap.
Then, I get on the computer and find AJ's latest post. And it's just, like, fuck. I love AJ, and I'm so gutted to see something more happen to him after all the shit he's been through.
Oh, following the amazing response I received to my t-shirt contest (yes, more sarcasm), I'm announcing it closed. I'm gonna make AJ's ideas, and Victors 1st idea.
And to top things off, I just can't stop thinking about Christopher.
Anywho, rock on dudes.
